Passionate about health and wellness, Angela is a life-long athlete who believes that being your best begins with your health. Making time for yourself is the foundation for your success: personal, professional, athletic, and academic.
She holds a B.A. in English from Fairfield University and a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Western Governor’s University. She maintains her professional teaching license in English and ESL/SEI and continues her graduate coursework in health and nutrition science. She is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor and has completed extensive training teaching yoga and meditation.
As a veteran teacher in Boston Public Schools, Angela understands the demands of education professionals and the needs of their students. For over ten years, her dedicated work in English, ESL and Humanities classrooms incorporate creative opportunities for movement, teambuilding practices and connectivity between mind, body and academics.
She has been a mentor teacher for the Boston Teacher Residency and the Northeastern Graduate Studies, School of Education. Angela has served as a grade-level lead teacher and a facilitator of a school based Instructional Leadership Team. Her partnerships with MassMouth, Fenway Health, GLSEN, and many diversity advocates have helped her to lead numerous student clubs and organizations.
Her experience extends beyond the classroom with her leadership roles as an athletic coach for basketball and soccer. In 2012, Angela partnered with Boston Rising to run her second Boston Marathon.
When not hitting the gym, she spends time with her amazing dog, finds local adventures with her friends and always finds time for a dance party.
Currently, she runs programs at schools around Greater Boston, teaches a 12-round HIIT workout at a Boston boxing club and you can find her teaching drop-in classes around the city. Her private clients range from working mothers, to current high school and aspiring college athletes and soon to be you!
